In partnership with General Motors, the new global EV platform will allow for efficient charging and standardized maintenance throughout the Honda EV lineup of the future.

100% Electric Sales by 2040

The upcoming 2024 Prologue is the first step to Honda’s ambitious goal of 100% vehicle sales in North America being zero-emission models. Honda strives to achieve carbon-neutrality for its products and corporate activities by 2050. Notably, the sales ratio of battery-electric and fuel-cell electric vehicles in North America is anticipating major growth. Thats from 40% by 2030 and 80% by 2035 to 100% by 2040. To help support this goal, Honda plans to release additional EV models in the latter half of this decade, based on brand-new EV architecture developed by Honda.
