The New 2022 Honda Civic Si
The best-handling and most fun-to-drive Civic Si ever is set to arrive at dealerships in 2022. The Si benefits from the recent 2022 redesign that has made the Civic one of the most technologically advanced vehicles on the road today with improved dynamic performance and an updated manual transmission now featuring the rev-matching system from the Civic Type R. Set to arrive at Honda West in early December, the 2022 Civic Si has an MSRP of $33,150. Here is everything you need to know about the new and improved 2022 Honda Civic Si.

Brand New Look
The 2022 Civic received a full redesign inside and out. The new Si adds attitude to the sport sedan while functional aerodynamic aids improve its performance. Si’s new upper front bumper design is more aggressive, and its rear bumper has been reshaped to reveal two large oval exhaust tips.
Honda has added a front spoiler hidden under the vehicle and a gloss black rear spoiler mounted atop the trunk lid add downforce to improve high speed stability. The Si has also made LED headlights and taillights standard. To cap off the new aesthetic standard 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels are finished in Si-specific matte black, and a new vibrant, Si-exclusive Blazing Orange Pearl paint color is available.
The Most Responsive Si Ever
The 2022 Honda Civic Si is equipped with a 1.5L turbo engine that produces 200 HP and an impressive 192 lb-ft of torque for near instantaneous acceleration. When the raw power of the engine is combined with an improved 6-speed manual transmission which makes shifting smoother, and a new rev matching system that was taken directly from the even higher performance Type R Civic.
When it comes to handling, the Civic Si is equipped with a stiffer and tighter suspension that greatly improves the responsiveness when steering. This philosophy of ultimate control is carried over to the springs, compliance bushings and rest of the suspension system which is tuned to be much stiffer which makes driving the Si a dream as you hug the road even on the tightest corners.
Braking has also been improved on the Si with oversized 12.3-inch front rotors (+1.2-inches vs. Sedan), and 11.1-inch rear rotors (+0.9-inch vs. Sedan) are standard along with 235/40R18 all-season performance tires.
Driver-Focused Cabin
The Civic Si’s driver-focused cabin features new Si-exclusive body stabilizing sport seats with built-in head restraints and more prominent shoulder and lower thigh side supports which is perfect for the aforementioned fast corners you will undoubtedly be taking on the Si.
Stepping into the Si cabin you’ll notice sport pedals and red contrast stitching on the doors, steering wheel, center armrest, shift boot and shift knob. The most technologically advanced Civic Si ever features a new 7-inch color instrument display with a digital tachometer on the left side, a multi-information display in the center and a physical speedometer dial. A 9-inch HD color touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration are also standard along with the new 12-speaker Bose premium sound system, it’s the best factory audio system in Civic Si history.
Outward visibility is enhanced by the Si’s pulled-back A-pillars, low hood, flat dashboard, low cowl and door-mounted outside mirrors, all design traits shared with the rest of the Civic lineup.
