Honda Reveals the First Look of the All-New 2023 HR-V

Honda has shown off the first glimpse of the all-new 2023 Honda HR-V, which received a full design in 2023. Saying goodbye to the current HR-V that is based on the Honda Fit platform, the 2023 HR-V will be based on the 11th generation civic platform, which will offer massive improvements across the board.

While many details are still unknown, customers can expect the 2023 HR-V to offer a more powerful and responsive engine while also getting access to all of the latest and greatest technology offered by Honda. The swap in platform will also result in a larger vehicle, offering more passenger and cargo space to the already space-efficient HR-V.

On the outside, the HR-V received a full design, including a drastic change to the front bumper that is now adorned with LED headlights. A smaller front grille area, longer hood and sleek roofline give the HR-V a unique signature look, differentiating itself from the other Honda SUVs.

"The all-new, sub-compact HR-V will attract a new generation of customers with its upgraded and enhanced features, the perfect introduction to our "Year of the Honda SUV" with the all-new CR-V and Pilot still to come,"

says Steve Hui, Assistant Vice President of Honda Canada.

"The HR-V has gained qualities beyond its segment while retaining the reliability, durability and versatility it is known for. Making it a leader with young, diverse buyers looking for an SUV that can hit city streets and rural roads with ease."

Canadian customers can expect to see the first 2023 HR-V’s arrive this summer, keep an eye out for updates to the 2023 model lineup, including the HR-V on our blog.
