How to Find Your Honda Radio Code: Guide

Are you in a bind because your Honda radio is asking for a code? Maybe you've replaced your battery, or perhaps you're troubleshooting an issue, or worst-case scenario, your radio has been stolen. Whatever the reason, the last thing you want to do is head down to your local Honda dealership and spend precious time and money trying to retrieve it. That's where our comprehensive guide comes in handy. We'll walk you through the step-by-step process of finding your Honda radio code, hassle-free.
Step 1: Visit radio-navicode.honda.com. This website provides clear instructions on how to locate your codes after you answer a few simple questions to confirm your identity.
Step 2: Check Your Anti-Theft Radio Identification Card If you have a newer Honda model, it likely came with an Anti-Theft Radio Identification Card. This card contains your Code Number and Serial Number (Serial Number is different to your VIN). Be sure to keep this card in a safe place and never in your vehicle. If your Honda has a Navigation System, the card will contain an additional box for that code.
Step 3: Search Your Glove Box and Center Console, in some Honda models, the radio code may be written on a sticker in the glove box or center console. Look for a four- or five-digit number that represents your Code, or an eight-digit number representing your Serial Number.
Step 4: Contact your local Honda Dealership - Wheaton Honda West. Please call our service department at (403) 249-9394 and we will be able to retrieve your Radio Code when you provide us with your Serial Number.

ENTERING IN RADIO CODE:
After receiving the radio code from us, input it into your radio system. Should the radio emit a beep at any point (except when entering the final digit), you'll need to restart it, as previous codes may still be stored. Occasionally, you might have to turn off the vehicle, switch it back to accessory mode, and then you can continue with entering the radio code.
