At the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Honda introduced two groundbreaking prototypes from its new 0 Series of battery electric vehicles: the Honda 0 SUV and the Honda 0 Saloon. These innovative models mark a significant step in Honda's electrification strategy, with production versions set to debut in North America in 2026 before expanding to markets worldwide.
Honda 0 SUV Prototype
Honda has unveiled a prototype of its mid-size electric SUV, marking the debut of the Honda 0 Series. This model is the first to utilize Honda's newly developed dedicated EV platform. Inspired by the Space-Hub concept showcased at CES 2024, the Honda 0 SUV embraces the “Thin, Light, and Wise” design philosophy, delivering a roomy interior that prioritizes visibility and adaptability. The cabin sets the stage for Honda's vision of its EV lineup, creating a space designed for comfort and innovation.
Like the Honda 0 Saloon, the SUV incorporates advanced next-generation technologies rooted in the “Thin, Light, and Wise” framework. It emphasizes personalization and a cutting-edge digital user experience powered by the ASIMO OS. The model’s steer-by-wire technology integrates control of systems like the steering, suspension, and brakes, enhancing the driving experience with precise handling.
The production version of the Honda 0 SUV, manufactured at the Honda EV Hub in Ohio, is slated for a North American launch in early 2026, with subsequent rollouts in Japan, Europe, and other global markets.

The prototype retains the bold aesthetics of the original concept while showcasing a sleek, low-profile silhouette and dynamic wedge-shaped design, distinguishing it from other electric vehicles. Despite its compact exterior, the cabin surprises with an unexpectedly spacious interior.
At CES 2025, Honda highlighted several innovative technologies that define the “Wise” aspect of the 0 Series. These include highly reliable automated driving features powered by Honda's Level 3 autonomy and the customizable ASIMO OS, which offers a personalized mobility experience tailored to individual needs.
The production version of the Honda 0 Saloon, manufactured at the Honda EV Hub in Ohio, is set to debut in the North American market in late 2026, with plans to expand to global markets such as Japan and Europe shortly thereafter.
