Honda Earns 3 More Car and Driver 10Best Awards

Honda continues its streak of excellence, earning three prestigious 2025 Car and Driver 10Best awards for the third consecutive year—more than any other brand. The editors recognized the Honda Civic and Accord among the 10Best Cars, while the Honda CR-V secured a spot in the 10Best Trucks and SUVs category.

With a total of 95 awards to date, Honda has claimed more Car and Driver accolades than any other brand in the award’s four-decade history. Since the awards began in 1983, at least one Honda model has consistently made the 10Best list every year.

The Honda Accord stands as America’s top-selling car for the past 50 years and holds the distinction of being the most recognized vehicle in Car and Driver 10Best history. It has earned a spot on this esteemed list an unmatched 39 times, including an unbroken streak over the last 27 years. The Civic has now received its 11th 10Best award, while the CR-V celebrates its sixth win.

What is the Car and Driver 10Best List?

The Car and Driver 10Best awards, recognized as a benchmark of automotive excellence for over four decades, feature vehicles that meet specific criteria. Eligible contenders include all-new models, winners from the 2024 10Best list, vehicles not available for the 2024 competition, and those with significant updates. Additionally, all entries must have a base price under $110,000 and be available for purchase by January 31, 2024.

To determine the winners, Car and Driver editors spend two weeks evaluating over 80 eligible cars, trucks, and SUVs, assigning scores from 0 to 100. The scores are then averaged to determine the 2025 10Best list. The awards are split into two categories: 10Best Cars and 10Best Trucks and SUVs.
